Kerrisdale Oakridge Marpole
Community Policing Centre
Welcome to the KOM CPC website. As Southwest Vancouver’s bridge between residents and businesses, and the Vancouver Police Department, we are your premier crime prevention and community safety resource.
Offering a range of services such as area patrols, Child Find and Project 529, the Kerrisdale Oakridge Marpole Community Policing Centre helps our neighbours take active roles in prevention and safety.
KOM CPC volunteers are commonly engaged in community events such as Kerrisdale Days, Marpole Family Day Festival and Pink Shirt Days, as well as activities in partnership with local schools.
We also provide public safety information, advice and assistance in our Kerrisdale area. Community members are encouraged to drop in, or information can be requested via phone or email. Requests to speak to a police officer in a relaxed setting are available.
The KOM CPC is a non-profit organization that relies on a passionate volunteer base of all ages and backgrounds, each committed to community safety and positive engagement.
Whether you’re a professional looking to give back to the community, a university student considering a law-enforcement career or a senior with deep ties to the community, the KOM CPC welcomes your talents.
Volunteers are encouraged to participate in a variety of different activities, with a minimum commitment of eight hours per month.
